Okay, so I finally made it onto the site.....not sure what to do next. I tried to upload an image (it was of Johnny) and that froze my computer----don't know if that's due to my computer or John, could go either way. Thanks, Chris, for setting up the site --- this isn't going to be like facebook, though, is it????

Missed you all at Christmas, but had a fairly relaxing holiday without all of the travel like last year's holiday. Quick update:

• Colby is back in Arcata, school starts up for him later this week. Megan is leaving for Australia in a couple of weeks and he is going to be one sad puppy.
• Marissa is in Southern California and will be having lunch with Heather on Monday. She will be home with us for about one more week and then she'll be back at school.
• Alek is acting like a pre-teen and we had a stubborn contest today --- surprise, I won. He does start middle school in the fall and his name is smart Alec.....
• Roanin is smart as can be and I no longer have to look twice at him to recognize him. (Doug took him for a haircut & brought back a boy that looks about 3 years older :(. )
• Doug is in LA area tonight also and having dinner with an old high school friend (the jeweler).
• I am working on all of the things the new year brings --- lots of strategic planning and re-organizing.

Will see you all in March when Eric comes home.
